Earth Day! What We Can Do To Save the Earth.

Today we learned about ways that we can save the Earth.  We used our SMART board to watch Moby the robot practice ways to keep our Earth clean and beautiful.  Next, we used starfall.com to read a book about cleaning up the environment.  During the book the students had a chance to touch items and move them into the different piles for recycling.  Finally, we created our own Earth and each student wrote ways that they can help save the Earth.  We had a great day!  HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYONE!

What can you do to help save the Earth? Leave us a comment...we would love to read it.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Mrs. Morris for taking part in our Guest Reader program.

We can't wait to share our poems with you and learn new information from your tadpole frog study.

Reminder...Monday PERMISSION SLIP/S and MONEY DUE!

I can't believe that we are getting so close to our field trip/s. Parents, please remember that your child needs to have the permission slip/s and money in to me by tomorrow.  We need to make bus arrangements and finalize plans for the trip.  If you need support with the admission please let me know and we will get something worked out.  Your child will not be able to attend the field trip without their permission slip and money returned.  If you lost your permission slip, you can print it out from the blog.  Please visit the Field Trip Information label on the side of the blog and it will direct you to the post. I can't wait for your child to experience this interactive field trip.
