Valentine’s Day Family Poem: Tonight you are receiving a paper with a heart sheet that we would like to invite you to write a family “Roses are Red” type poem. For example “Roses are red, violets are blue, I love Go Math and so do you! “ After you make your family poem, then please decorate the heart and send back to school so we can hang up for display.
Conversation Heart Math! : We are asking each child to bring in a box of Conversation Heart candy for a special math lesson where we will sort the hearts by color and then graph them. We will need all boxes of hearts by Friday, February 8th.
Valentine’s Day Treat Bags: Our Valentine’s Day Party will be on Wednesday, February 13th from 1:45-2:45. Please only have your child write his/her first name on the “from” line and leave the “to” line blank. This will make passing out the cards easier for your little one. There are 22 children in the class.
